Topaz Gemstone Arabic Prayer Beads.
The bead is round, bead size measures 10 x 10 mm and 32 cm in length, 45 beads and weighs 32.23 grams. The Shaheed is made of topaz while the karkousha is tassle.
Topaz is a silicate mineral of aluminium and fluorine, it crystallizes in the orthorhombic system and its crystals are mostly prismatic terminated by pyrandal and other faces. It is one of the hardest of any silicate mineral. This hardness combined with its usual transparency and variety of colors means that it has acquired wide use in jewellery as a cut gemstone as well as for intaglios and other gemstone carvings.
Being a less expensive gemstone, topaz is known for its looks and benefits which enhances its significance in both jewelry and astrology. It was believed by the Egyptians that a yellow topaz, store and contains the rays of the sun. It is known to provide inner peace and calmness to the mind, eradicating negativities and evil, enhancing the control on anger and rage, and is beneficial in the ailments of liver, fever, appetite, cold, cough, and indigestion.
